5 Reasons Why a Low Cost Netbook is the Best Lap Top Notebook Computer For College Students
In the early nineties, I was in school. Miami Hurricanes were the best team in the NCAA. Dan Marino was still the quarterback of the Miami Dolphins. Windows just came out. Students rarely require widespread use of a computer. Apart from the engineering and computer courses, of course. We had programming tasks that require the constant use of computers. Although there were plenty of terminals to the computer room, it was not conducive for me because I live off campus. Doreally too late to stay in the computer room.
So I bought a 286-machine. Sharing costs with another student friend. Yes, we both do not have to stay in school computer room complete shut our computer tasks. We have it all at home. Many of the other computer student also bought their own computers so that they complete their tasks at home. Basically, then leave students to computers at home. Notebooks? Yes, it is the paper type, which wePlease write with pens and pencils.
Fast forward to the present. The year 2008 saw the emergence of a new generation of notebook computers. ASUS was the first to bring about the Eee PC. A notebook that is small in many respects - price, size, weight and functionality. It was the first sub USD $ 500 notebook.
The other hardware vendors stayed away from the market. However, they kept a close look at them and paid attention to the market growth. Before you know it, joined many other hardware players inthe moving train, when the market was booming for the enormous sub USD $ 500 machines. Today we see the big players like HP and Lenovo make itself felt in this fast growing market segment, get to know you better now netbook. Low cost netbooks have made their way into the mainstream headlines.
Student to be in demand these days that they are equipped with a computer. Assignments are now done mainly on computers. No disclosure of the handwritten documents. Everythingbe neatly into a word processor, spreadsheet or presentation will be carried out.
Today we see the students with laptops and notebooks throughout their college campus. How many of them can really afford a full-fledged notebook? I would say, not many can afford. To the parents who have sacrificed to get a notebook for their children in school, I completely bow to you. I know it's a big sacrifice, especially in Malaysia, where I live. The minimum cost for a simple low end notebook is aboutMYR2500. That is a lot of money for most parents over here in Malaysia.
Which brings me to the first and probably the most important reason for making the low-cost netbooks for the best laptops for students.
1. Low Cost
A basic netbook, currently costs about $ 300 USD. In other words, about MYR1300 in the Malaysian market. This means parents and students could save about MYR1000 if they are one of those low-cost netbooks willinstead of a regular notebook.
This is a tremendous savings. For parents who have got two kids in school, they can generally get two netbooks for the same price as a single, clear low end notebook. Thanks to this affordable netbooks, students can now longer have a computer. If they somehow get it even lower. How about taking MYR1000? , A subgroup that would mean $ 200 USD. I think it is possible. Maybe in a few years or so.
2. Light Weight
I am very familiarthe load, to a notebook to every day wear. Yes, I am a notebook backpackers, and proud of it too. Every now and then for a while, I would like to get some spring cleaning of my notebook backpack. Yes, after a few weeks she had to be filled with papers and notes, which I really do not find, nor do I actually have a need for them. They are only there in a backpack, are piling up after so many days at work.
The backpack alone, with the necessary seals and what-nots weighsbeautiful. Add a notebook (3kg), a group of CDs and DVDs (0.5 kilograms), and the above mentioned load of paperwork, I would say I carry around a good 5 kg to 6 kg of weight on my shoulder every single day .
First, you do not really notice that the weight of 5kg. After a while, shoulders and back began to ache and you start to wonder why. Only then will you know that there probably have the weight of the extra 5kg that you carry around every day are caused.
The netbooksnow weighs about 1.5 kilograms. Some would probably weigh more, depending on the battery is installed. Not much more, however. A netbook with a 6-cell battery weighs in at about slightly less than 2 kg. Still way better than a standard notebook.
College students, especially the ladies, it would certainly benefit from the netbooks as easily. As light as they are now, students can still carry them around as they commute to the college campusfrom one class to another. No fear of a shoulder or back pain as netbooks are very easy indeed.
3. Small Footprint
At the meeting in an auditorium, it's really not much space to use for a college student. The seats are usually flexible with a small table. Setting a standard 14inch or 15 inch notebook on these table tops were a little effort. There is no room for anything other than the notebook on the left.
Here lies the beauty of thea netbook. netbooks have only 10inch in size, some even lower. Adjust only good for a classroom environment. Ask a small and flexible to the table, and you probably have a little space left, put a little smaller. A small Post It notes, perhaps? An MP3-Recorder, perhaps?
But the small size also means that the netbook must not be carried in a notebook backpack. The ladies can probably just dump the small unit in their handbags. Of course it is notfit to go when they can use the tiny pockets, it does not really fit anything but her facial expression makeover article.
A standard (is there such a thing) Coach handbag will fit certainly a nice 10inch netbook. No one would even suspect that your computer into a handbag.
4. Communication Features
Almost all the netbooks currently be configured with a nice lot of communication features. It's got speakers, cameras, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a start. These components are already good enough to allow users to communicate easily over the Internet.
Social networking? Chat room? Skype? Yahoo Messenger? Google Chat? Facebook? MySpace? Video conferencing? Just name it. Even the simplest low-cost netbook is more than capable, so that their "users to use all of the above communication channel. Why is a netbook, even the most basic ones are already more than capable of allowing college students toCommunication with their peers, wherever they are.
5. Style
Have you seen how these low-cost netbooks? Do not they look awesome? One thing is sure, the manufacturers really put in their efforts to these small units look extremely good. The completion they are placed on these netbooks just pleasing to the eye. A veritable feast for the eyes can tell, I'd like that. They come in multiple-choice colors. You name it, they come in orange, blue, red, yellow, gray, black, green, and much more.
Now would not you agree that the low-cost netbook for the best laptop notebook computers for students? I certainly think so. Why not? Well, of course, its going to be not suitable for all school functions. As long as the student understands the limitation of the Atom CPU, it would be just dandy. You can not expect that the little netbook to be capable of displaying 3D animated graphics for them. It would not be suitable forCompiling really complex technical calculations and a lot of programming effort compilation jobs.
I would say that netbooks have to be the gadget for college students who will soon, if not already is. She would not be possible without a cool.
If you opt for low-cost net pounds, you should take a look at the low-cost netbook market in the city, if you are looking for the best values in HP Mininote for sale on the internet.
