Unboxing only a Compaq Mini Netbook
Notebook computers. At this point in the 21 Century, they have become an indispensable part of daily life for many people. From the commuting business man and the busy student, we all want to be mobile with our computers. The big disadvantage is that the fact that it is not always a plug-in, if you need one. A notebook computer's battery is its life blood. Without the proper care of your notebook battery could not be much earlier than expected. With fewsimple steps, you can expect the greatest amount of use out of your notebook battery before a replacement is needed.
Made me several hours and was a major pain, but I managed to get HP Mobile Internet Experience (MIE), downloaded from the HP Web site to run on VMware Fusion. All hardware will now work on networking, audio, and monitor / video card. This was especially difficult without the developer tools and kernel sources with the release. Being based on Ubuntu 8.04, I had the most questions correctly, that the source is, but sticking to the stock kernel. This makes a nice stand-alone media player / webBrowser VM. The video is laggy and the VM is running much slower than normal. This is because the screen-capture software has been on the same machine running the VM, so there are a lot of effort. This runs at least 10 times faster alone. HP came with very nice package here. Keep up the good work HP! This is how a mean and lean user interface is not under Linux with some style! Defiantly makes me want to pick up an HP Mini with this operating system. HP HP, we ask that this is a bit friendlier for developers, release –Source so that we can build on this platform!
Bought one of the first 2140s that shipped in February 2009. Have already taken it on a 1 month trip to China. This is my 1st netbook, and 5th notebook that I have owned since 2002.
Laptop computers or notebooks are of course used all over the world for business and leisure travelers. Are they not so expensive, though. You do not always on the lookout for a laptop - to know sometimes you just have to look at a bargain price if you do.
Many high-street shops sell them, sell a little business, selling to friends, sell them almost by everyone, but where is the best place to be an excellent laptop?
Where do we start? My guess is as good as you, I could say. But I willDo not try to say that.
