This netbook is great. I got it from Tiger Direct. It does get about nine hours of battery. I got arid of Norton right away and got avast free antivirus, but other than that, it only comes with a few programs installed. The keyboard may need some getting used to, but other than that, this netbook is a great buy.

This was a replacement for an old full size laptop that decided to die while I was on Thanksgiving holiday. After reading many reviews, both by users and by PC publications, I selected this little Toshiba. It’s great… very long battery life makes it easy to use on the plane or out and about. The wireless connects extremely fast. I use it mostly for emails and if I want to do some real big stuff, I connect to my PC at home.

This laptop is perfect if you are looking for a light, relatively powerful laptop to take on the road. For its intended purpose, it is a great little machine not weighed down by a bunch of crap pre-loaded, taking HD space.

The only drawback I have encountered is that the monitor resolution is not enough to run Photoshop, which I use a lot. The workaround is to shoot tethered like always (I can run Lightroom) and save the PS work until I get back to my desktop.
